Tuesday Tune – 1967 Throwback

Every Tuesday I’ll post a song suggestion by me or someone interviewed and that song will be added to my Spotify Playlist .

This week’s Tuesday Tune is a cheeky throwback – A Whiter Shade of Pale by Proco Harum

This song is 50 years old this year…

I first properly discovered A Whiter Shade of Pale after watching the film The Boat That Rocked. They play it when *SPOILER* the boat is sinking, and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s character decides to stay on-air while it is going down. It’s a pretty subtly emotional scene, but since that was the only film I saw Hoffman in before his death, it makes that scene rather poignant to me.

Anyway, if you haven’t heard this song, give it a listen!
